Uh oh! Obama rips off another speech! By Rizzuto Wed Sep 10, 2008 - Another Deval Patrick moment for Obama, this time he ripped off a cartoon. You can check out the full cartoon and context at News Busters, but I'll give you the general idea. Here are the lines in question from Obama's "lipstick on a pig" speech on the 9th: ...watch out, George Bush - except for economic policy, healthcare policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy, and Karl-Rove-style politics, we're really gonna shake things up in Washington.Now here is the dialogue from a cartoon by Tom Toles from September 5: Watch out Mr. Bush! With the exception of economic policy and energy policy and social issues and tax policy and foreign policy and supreme court appointments and rove style politics, we're coming in there to shake things up!'Nuff said. I don't think there's a way you can honestly say this isn't a rip-off. Not a huge deal, but another incident which shows a pattern of behavior. Now what was that about Palin not writing her own speeches Barack?
