New McCain Ad: Advice By Rizzuto Thu Sep 18, 2008 - McCain finally hits Obama on his relationship with former, scandal plagued Fannie Mae CEO Franklin Raines. We had talked on this earlier in the week. I hope we can expect more ads along this line of attack Raines isn’t the full extent of Obama’s connection to Fannie Mae though. We also know that Jim Johnson, another former CEO of Fannie Mae was at one time the head of Obama’s vice presidential search committee. In addition, Obama is the second largest recipient of donations from Fannie Mae just behind Christopher Dodd, totaling over 126K. Change? Politicians like Obama are the problem…by his own standards apparently.
