Weakest.Racebaiting.Ever.

Thu Sep 25, 2008 - Disgraced and impeached judge turned Representative of Florida Alcee Hastings engaged in what is likely one of the most ridiculous cases of race baiting in the history of race baiting. If you'll remember, in 1989, Hastings was convicted of taking bribes from drug dealers. This from ABC News:
Florida Democratic Congressman Alcee Hastings pointed to Sarah Palin on Wednesday to rally Jews to Obama.

"If Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention," said Hastings. "Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through."

Hastings, who is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, made his comments in Washington, D.C., while participating in a panel discussion sponsored by the National Jewish Democratic Council.
Question, what does one have to do with the other? Does he mean to suggest that being an outdoorsman makes you apathetic to people different than you?

What's even worse is that the sheep at the National Jewish Democratic Council ate it up, cheering wildly for Hastings.

This next line is my favorite though, it just goes to the heart of Democrat identity politics:
"Just like Jews, blacks care about affordable health care, energy independence, and the separation of church and state," said Hastings. "And just like blacks, Jews care about equal pay for equal work, investment in alternative energy, and a woman's right to choose."
Jews are like this...blacks are like this...Jews are like this...blacks are like this. Vote as a group, not an individual. Way to set up a simplistic paradigm and stick to it.

Apparently Alcee forgot to tell these people they're supposed to be Pro-abortion.
