Sick Blogging By Rizzuto Wed Oct 01, 2008 - I woke up not feeling too hot this morning, so I took a sick day. Blogging will be light, but I feel like I’d be missing an opportunity here if I didn’t say a few words about the state of daytime television. Despite being taken over by Drew Carey, The Price is Right has maintained much its medicinal value. I have to say though, I was pretty disappointed that Plinko was absent from todays program. Let me sum up the commercials during daytime television in one sentence: “Hey old people, you’re going to die, get sick, or hurt yourself; send us money!” I wonder if suicide rates for the elderly go up significantly between 11am and 3pm Eastern Standard Time. These “Judge” shows must stop! Daytime has become a non-stop parade of obnoxious, black robed, ass hats. Judge Judy, Judge Alex, Judge Mathis, Judge Hatchet, Judge Joe Brown, Christina’s Court, The People's Court…it’s enough already! Perhaps these shows would be somewhat interesting if these judges were handing out death sentences.
