Justice Ginsburg: Eugenicist? By Rizzuto Sun Jul 12, 2009 - The media buried this bombshell. In a New York Times interview, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg explained her thoughts on the Roe v. Wade decision: Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of. So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion.Her answer screams of racist eugenics; extermination of the "undesirables" through selective breeding. Really though, we shouldn't be surprised. Ginsburg's quote is just a continuation of Planned Parenthoods founder Margaret Sanger's vision of abortions place in America. Sanger, in her book The Pivot of Civilization, referred to blacks, immigrants and indigents as, "..human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born". In 1919, Sanger wrote that the aim of birth control was, "More children from the fit, less from the unfit...".
