Mrs. Boxer has a history of condescending to witnesses testifying to Senate committees. If you'll remember a few weeks ago, Boxer demanded a Brigadier General refer to her as Senator rather than Ma'am, calling him out mid-sentence. Mr. Alford, who is the president and CEO of the Black Chamber of Commerce, eats Ma'am Boxer alive. She's typical of Washington's country club liberals, completely threatened by an independent minority. Even with her back against the wall, she continues to be condescending, trying to ply Mr. Alford with talk of "pride" (a liberal racial buzzword).
