More from Reverend Ward Churchill Update
By Rizzuto

Fri Mar 14, 2008 - It's right to make the comparison between the pastor and the professor because Wright has taken a page right out of Ward Churchill's playbook with his "Chickens coming home to roost" comment.

Wrights comments get worse. This from the today's New York Post:
The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who for decades ministered at Obama's Trinity United Church of Christ on the South Side of Chicago, has also preached about the vast influence of "rich white people" and slammed Clinton from the pulpit for never having experienced the suffering of African-Americans.

"Jesus was a poor black man who lived in a country and who lived in a culture that was controlled by rich white people," Wright preached in one Christmas sermon.

"The Romans were rich. The Romans were Italian, which means they were European, which means they were white. And the Romans ran everything in Jesus' country."
This isn't just some slip of the tongue. This is virulent, anti-white sentiment in the same vain as saying that "the Jews killed Jesus". The question remains, was Obama at any of these so called sermons? If so, why didn't he walk out on this type of venom, and why didn't it offend him, seeing that he's half-white?

As one blogger noted the other day; "if Obama wasn't there to hear the sermon couldn't he at least have read abut it in the church bulletin?" Surely he must have had conversations with church members who could clue him in! Then there is the little problem of the Farrakhan/Wright visit to good old Khadaffi in Libya. That was not exactly a secret visit. Oh, and Trinity United bestowed a "Lifetime Achievement Award" on Minister "Calypso Louie" Farrakhan. Also we learn that the Barack Family donated tens of thousands of dollars to the church.
