A Note on Obama's Repudiation of Pastor Wright By Rizzuto Fri Mar 14, 2008 - One thing struck me in Obama's repudiation. This line specifically made me think: But because Rev. Wright was on the verge of retirement, and because of my strong links to the Trinity faith community, where I married my wife and where my daughters were baptized, I did not think it appropriate to leave the church.Perhaps this just hits me on a personal level because of my own religious experience, my parents moving my brother and I from the Roman Catholic Church to the Episcopal when they reached an ideological impasse with Roman Catholicism. Wouldn't your children be the foremost reason you would leave this church, to spare them exposure to such venom? Instead, Obama's children were subjected to Pastor Wright's anti-White, anti-American version of Christianity for 8 and 12 years. But hey, I guess 12 years ago, Pastor Wright was "on the verge of retirement". Just a thought...

Wow going by that can I at 40 consider myself on the verge of retirement? I mean I am only 25 years away. This is just a poor attempt to save his political ass. Well at least his campaign slogans are coming in handy. Right now I am sure his followers have HOPE that he will CHANGE his ways.

As I lay on my bed this morning and watch video of the absurdity that is Pastor Wright, I thought to myself; There's no way a candidate can recover from this. But then, I shook myself into reality. No one cares about this story. People are consumed with the Elliot Spitzer story. Yes the spitzer story is juicy, but which of these two stories has potential long term ramifications? Are you telling me these often white upper class pseudo hippies are are going to vote a man into the Presidency that has anti-American ties? Talk about a trojan horse. In my mind this is a much bigger story than Elliot Spitzer being the only politician in the last few months to be dumb enough to get caught doing what many others are also doing.

Talkradio will not let this die. They keep hammering at Rev. Wright and Obama. Hopefully America will wake up before it is too late.

I read on the jawa report today that whitenesses have seen Obama nodding in agreement with Wright during these fiery anti-American sermons.

I have been following the Jeremiah Wright story quite closely and I find amazing the quantity of crazy stuff that has been spewed by this deluded, hard left egomaniac. Thankfully, the MSM has finally caught the scent and I am sure what we have seen so far is only the iceberg peak. Sean Hannity contends that the Obama campaign has been fatally crippled by these revelations. It is quite likely that Obama's soothing protestations of ignorance will be seen as increasingly unbelievable. Obama's assertions that Wright's views do not truly represent those of the congregation are belied by the evidence in the many videos of ecstatic audience members jumping up and down in the aisles, clapping and high fiving throughout the more fiery sermons.
