US Ranks 22nd in Stability in British Report By Rizzuto Wed Mar 26, 2008 - According to a recent study by the British-based Jane's Information Group, America ranks 22nd in prosperity and stability. This from Reuters: Meanwhile, the United States failed to rank among the top tier of the world's most stable countries in the ratings, which measured 235 countries, territories and entities according to two-dozen stability factors.Notice they didn't say "gun violence" but "proliferation of small arms", this means that the right to keep and bear arms itself is judged as a "destabilizing factor". Under this logic, Stalin's Soviet Union, and Hitler's Germany might have been considered models of stability and prosperity. You know what else is stable? A graveyard...
