The Murder: Soldiers and Senators By Rizzuto Sun Apr 20, 2008 - The Murder is punk band based in Boston MA. Their sound has been compared to the likes of The Clash, Social Distortion and The Pinkerton Thugs. Currently, the lineup consists of Roach McKrackin on Vocals & Guitar, Pat Gill on Rhythm Guitar, J-Lanz on Bass duties and JG on Drums. With over 25 years of musical experience between them, and coming from bands as diverse as Entrophy, Mob Rule and The Apparatus, The Murder recalls the sound and spirit of Boston Punk circa 1996, bringing a sound that is both familiar and new. After less than a year as a band the group is already receiving critical acclaim. Pope Fraize of the Church of Leviathan says that The Murder is "Boston Punk Rock how it is meant to be", while fellow (blue collar) musicians The Blue Collar Convicts call them "Good Shit Kicking Rock & Roll !!!".

Go Boston! I have yet to see them, even though they play around here all the time. They play a lot of smaller, local shows. |
